LIFE ECO-SANDFILL project in press
FUNDI Press, the technical magazine for the Spanish Foundry industry, announced in its online edition in July the launching of the LIFE ECO-SANDFILL project, co-financed by the EC and coordinated by the Metallurgy Centre IK4-AZTERLAN, leading a Consortium formed by two Basque industrial companies (Fundiciones del ESTANDA and ONDARLAN), another Technology Centre (GAIKER-IK4) and the leading construction company in Europe ACCIONA INFRAESTRUCTURAS.

The twice-weekly publication Empresa XXI (1 September 2016 issue) published an article about the LIFE ECO-SANDFILL project, describing the main objectives and expected results of the project, that can help meet the ambitious targets set for spent foundry sand valorisation in the Waste Prevention and Management Plan by 2020 in the Basque Country.
